About The Role :

We are looking for an experienced Back-end developer to join our IT team. You will be responsible for the server side of our web applications. If you have excellent programming skills and a passion for developing applications or improving existing ones, we would like to meet you. As a Back-end developer, you’ll work closely with our engineers to ensure system consistency and improve user experience.

Skills :
  1. Strong computer science fundamentals in algorithms, data structures.
  2. Hands-on experience in Node.js, Javascript, NoSQL databases, RESTful/SOAP web services.
  3. Knowledge of Java/J2EE technologies with spring boot, Mongodb, Meteor.js
  4. Knowledge of Mongodb, JMeter is an added advantage.
  5. Experience in designing scalable solutions in a large-scale distributed environment.
Roles and Responsibilities :
  1. Collaborate with a team of IT professionals to set specifications for new applications.
  2. Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications and requirements.
  3. Perform unit and integration testing, functional and non-functional testing before launch.
  4. Test and maintain software products to ensure strong functionality and optimization.
  5. Develop technical documents and handbooks to accurately represent application design and code.
What You'll Do :

A back-end web developer is responsible for server-side web application logic and integration of the work front-end developers do. Back-end developers usually write the web services and APIs used by front-end developers and mobile application developers. These developers are responsible for creating, maintaining, testing, and debugging the entire back end. This includes the core application logic, databases, data and application integration, API and other back end processes.

About the Team :

When back-end developers create apps that render on the server-side, they use the same building blocks as front-end developers: HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Back-end developers also work with software stacks that include operating systems, web servers, frameworks, languages, programming APIs and more.
